When we visited Alaska some years ago, we spent some time sightseeing with a rental car and also went on a cruise to enjoy the Inside Passage! It was such a great experience. The views from the cruise ship decks were amazing and the fellowship with family was a blessing. We had fun playing board games, meandering through the small Alaskan port cities and eating lots of food. Sunsets were particularly spectacular from the boat with the water’s reflection and rugged terrain outside our windows. We didn’t see much wildlife in Alaska, but did see some seals and large fish in the water. Overall, the cruise felt relaxing.

This photo was taken while on our cruise. The boat is not ours, but was another vessel traversing the Inside Passage. I think this image captures the peacefulness and beauty of this quiet, mostly untamed part of the country. God’s handiwork far surpasses anything a human designer could ever do…this is a good reminder for me as I do my work!
